I had high expectations for this phone and was very disappointed. I believe the problem is primarily related to the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. Its very slow, and seems to hesitate when scrolling. Pandora locks up, Skype isn't supported at all, Adobe Flash isn't supported, and many of the radio stations I listen to are not supported. Mapquest and Google Maps are painfully slow and panning and zooming is so difficult it useless. I've never been a fan of Apple, but my daughter's iPhone makes this phone look like a antique. I've returned the phone and will take a closer look at an Android or Blackberry phone.

After going back and forth trying to decide between the Tilt2 and LG Expo (after reading and watching tons of reviews), I decided to go with the Tilt2 given that it had the advantage over the LG Expo in terms of things that are important to me on a phone. Although the Tilt2 comes with a stylus (and is built in - unlike the Expo), you don't need it very often. The screen on the Tilt2 is huge and amazing. Crystal clear and one of the biggest screens I've ever seen. Although the phone does get a bit buggy at times, I've learned to have a little bit of patience and try not to go from one program to another so quickly. This is what causes a lot of the quirks. It's a phone after all, not a super computer. As far as a media playing device, it is fantastic! YouTube (which is preloaded) vids are shown in full screen and the quality is ridiculously amazing. Internet speeds are decent and navigation is easy. This phone is loaded with so many things that I will be learning this phone for months. The keyboard is the best around - spacious for big nubs trying to punch in digits. The biggest negatives that I have regarding the phone other than the bugginess sometimes is that the earpiece could be a little louder at full volume and the battery life could be a little bit better. I get about a day to a day and a half. Most people complain about not having a headphone jack, but I could really care less about that. I would rarely listen through head phones anyway. Overall, this is the best phone I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it.

This phone is much better than I could have thought. The signal is great. The only thing I did not like was the Facebook app it came with did not support Instant messaging. But that was a easy fix after downloading FIM directly to the phone. My Drug guide for work that I downloaded works great. The IE is very good although I would like to if able to change the home page. Bing download ICON is a nice addition. This phone has been trouble free and simply put a real pleasure to use. Thank you HTC and windows mobile 6.5.

I gotta say that I’m not one to complain. But I’m really looking to vent a bit. I have had cell phones since mobile communications started, IE Bag phones. I have had many handhelds over the years and I must say that the HTC Tilt 2 is probably the WORST phone I’ve ever had. It should be noted that I don’t look for fancy apps and bells and whistles. I use the phone for calling, business emails, texting , and an occasional picture. The Tilt 2 is slow, not, (in my opinion) user friendly and the most annoying and frustrating devise I’ve ever had. I’ve had the phone replaced 3 times by AT&T and have seen no difference in the performance. Lock-ups, and a mind of its own… I miss my Samsung Blackjack, and Blackjack 2. Again I know I’m venting but I’m confused on how others are viewing this phone as having many pluses, I’m just not seeing it. Thanks for listening.

The Tilt 2 has a very cool look to it. It's what draws most people to it. The screen is quite large, and easy to read, while the keys are very easy to type/text on. The only problem with the Tilt 2, is that it does freeze. It can get quite annoying when you're in the middle of something and have to turn it completely off and restart it. But if you take your time with it, you'll really enjoy this phone! I like my Tilt 2 a lot.

Had the Palm Treo 750 before this w/ 6.0 pro. Windows came a long way! The phone it self is great. Can get an app that will make my Tilt do anything an Iphone or Android will do! There out there folks. Try wm6software.net or Windows Marketplace only to use these websites. You don't have to register your credit card for free apps unlike Apple. I downloaded an app to make my phone a wireless router the other day. It comes in handy. Any thing the other guys have you can get an app to make your Tilt do the same! Great sound from the speakers took it to the pool and listened to FM radio app! Don't know how I made it without my Tilt2. Good job AT&T,Microsoft, and HTC!
